Job Description Summary

* Transport construction material to job site in a safe and timely manner
* Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution
* Receive from dispatcher invoice for materials, directions to job site and any special instructions and follow them to the detail
* Maintain complete and accurate records such as DOT drivers’ daily logs, fuel receipts, delivery documentation and any other required documents according to state and federal regulations
* Build and maintain good customer relationships
* Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report immediately any concerns or problems
* Obtain shipping bills and necessary signatures and return completed paperwork to the shipping department
* Provide and document proper routine maintenance of assigned truck and loading/unloading equipment
* Survey job site and unload cargo in the best area available in a safe manner
* Develop very good knowledge of inventory, sizes, types, colors, and pallet package
* Monitor and immediately report problems with assigned product quality, customer satisfaction, and traffic

Requirements

* CDL A required
* Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a flatbed truck
* Detailed oriented and good communication skills a plus

Summary

This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of end dumps and or belly dumps (with and without pups (trailers) and tarping systems).

Driver – Part Time

Basic Summary of Position

Individual is responsible for driving patients to and from therapy appointments. Individual must have the ability to provide courtesy assistance to patients as needed in entering and exiting the vehicle. Professionalism and strong customer service necessary during all patient interactions. Must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, meeting company insurance requirements.

Essential Functions:

1. Ability to follow and obey all rules and regulations under the Company Policy & Procedures Manual, Company Car, Driver’s Policy.

2. Safely and courteously drives patients to and from home and clinic locations.

3. Communicates with patients in a professional manner.

4. Provide courtesy assistance to patients when entering and exiting vehicles.

5. Provide delivery and pick-up of supplies to other Company locations as needed.

6. Communicate with patients via telephone prior to any scheduled pick up.

7. Communicate any changes in transportation schedule to Transportation Coordinator and/or Supervisor.

8. Utilize strong customer service with all patients and in all patient interactions.

9. Ability to assist transportation needs at other clinics as directed.

10. Assure that vehicle is vacuumed at least once a week, or more often as needed.

11. Assist in ensuring that outside of vehicle is washed at least once every three weeks, or more often as needed.

12. Ability to provide upkeep and maintenance to company car, per the Company Car, Driver’s policy manual.

13. Ability to follow and obey all State and Local laws.

14. Maintain cleanliness of clinic and treatment areas

15. Assist in doing laundry and folding towels

As a Driver with Hajoca your specific duties will include, but are not limited to:

Driving a Hajoca truck and operating it safely in compliance with Company rules and applicable laws and regulations

Safely load and secure the truck prior to making deliveries

Unload correct merchandise and place it where the receiving party dictates

Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names, addresses, or needs discovered throughout the course of daily deliveries

Inspect the truck and required parts to determine safe operating condition prior to delivery, and inform supervisor of any mechanical problems.

Assist team members in servicing customers
