Responsibilities

We are seeking highly motivated candidates to work with our subject matter experts on fast paced projects. As an Entry Automation Control Systems Engineer, you will have an opportunity to work in collaborative, problem solving teams responsible for control systems modernization projects involving the latest technology available in automation, and digital control.

You will work alongside experienced process and automation engineers to design, implement, test and document automation solutions in an office environment. You will also have the opportunity to work at customer sites in the field by participating in field surveys and assisting with installations, checkouts and startups of control systems. By interfacing with customers and fulfilling their process automation needs, you can have a direct impact on improving plant safety, reliability and efficiency for top companies in their industries. Improving quality for consumers
by improving repeatability of the manufacturing process.

Basic Requirements

Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s (or higher) degree plan or graduated with less than 2 years experience in Biomedical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering by expected start date.
3.0 GPA or higher. Must include GPA on resume and provide transcripts upon request.

Willing to travel up to 35% domestically.
Prior experience servicing customers, clients or internal support where strong communication skills were utilized to understand and translate customer needs to a team.

Responsible for attaining all district objectives including complete satisfaction of all customers. Responsible for the development of sound plans and programs within established
Branson policies and procedures. Achieve and/or exceed assigned sales goals.

1.
Ensure satisfaction of customer needs by assisting in part design, Process development, Training and after sales Support/Service.

2. Ensure maintenance and upgrade of customer contacts in territory so they are aware of advantages and availability of BUC products, programs, and services. Ensure follow through on all customer inquiries and sales leads in person.

Education and Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of company and clients specific robotic systems needs
Manage the process of assigning tasks to appropriate resources based on skills required for completing the task
Identify and resolve project bottlenecks
Participate in selecting appropriate vendors and service providers to assist in projects
Participate in the hiring process for additional engineering, functional, and business resources
Work with external organizations to manage outsourced aspects of project work
Create operational protocols for use of robotics systems
Oversee documentation efforts for robotics systems
Oversee testing process starting with test case development, active testing, and documentation of testing results. This duty involves ensuring that the engineering and testing resources are working together effectively and proper communications are occurring between all parties.
Work with software and hardware engineers to develop appropriate control and safety systems based on requirements
Creating reports that are thorough, detailed, and able to be comprehended by clients is an essential duty. This is akin to the common saying that you must know your field so well you could explain it to a five-year-old.
Similarly, because clients will not always be able to express what they need in engineering-grade detail, the engineer must be able to translate between needs and actual applications.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the engineer must be able to teach the system to those who need to learn it (and often organizations will request manuals so that they do not need to constantly consult the engineer).
