Summary

This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of end dumps and or belly dumps (with and without pups (trailers) and tarping systems).
Drivers will deliver all types of soils, aggregates and other materials to locations both residential and commercial.

Essential Duties and Responsbilities:
* Operate the Water Truck and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
* Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
* Proper machine start-up, operation, and shutdown knowledge
* Operate the Water Truck safely and efficiently
* Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area
* Fill truck tank with water
* Spray water in designated areas
* Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness
* Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Water Truck.
* Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required.

Position Overview

The Tack Truck Driver will be responsible for the operation of the Asphalt Paving Tack Truck, self-propelled broom, and labor duties. These duties should be carried out in a safe and effective manner under the supervision and direction of the asphalt paving superintendent and foreman.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

* Operate asphalt tack truck and maintain refill, quantity measurement, inventory and refueling duties
* Operate several types of asphalt paving equipment including; rollers, broom and skid steer when tack operation is complete
* Thorough understanding of all aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving.
* The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
* Performs general cleaning of work areas and maintenance areas.
* Assists other maintenance department staff in performing the duties necessary to assure the efficiency of operations of vehicles.
* Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
* Assist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing and repair of equipment to further their abilities.
* Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
* Maintain an accurate and timely driver log.
* Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
* Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* Experience operating an asphalt tack truck.

Work Requirements
* Must be 18 years in age or older.
* Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
* Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
* Must maintain current commercial drivers license that meets state requirements.
* Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

We are hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers to start on Monday! Must live within 40 mile radius.

MUST HAVE A CLASS A CDL TO QUALIFY!

Many schedules to choose from. You will choose how you want to run and your schedule.
Applicants that are interested need to apply online! We are hiring 17 drivers for this position. First come, first hired, so do not wait to apply even if you are currently employed. Positions will be held for applicants based on application date. Start as soon as Monday or start when you need. Applicants will be hired in application order received.

HOME TIME:

Local Truck Drivers:
Home daily or home nightly.
Off 1.5 to 2 days during the week.
Dedicated Truck Drivers:
Home daily, home nightly, or home between 1-3 loads. (You will pick your lane, which will determine your schedule.)
Off 1.5 to 2 days. You can pick your days off, which can be 2 days during the week or off Saturday and Sunday.
Regional Truck Drivers:

We are hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers to start on Monday! Must live within 40 mile radius.

MUST HAVE A CLASS A CDL TO QUALIFY!

Many schedules to choose from. You will choose how you want to run and your schedule.
Applicants that are interested need to apply online! We are hiring 17 drivers for this position. First come, first hired, so do not wait to apply even if you are currently employed. Positions will be held for applicants based on application date. Start as soon as Monday or start when you need. Applicants will be hired in application order received.

HOME TIME:

Local Truck Drivers:
Home daily or home nightly.
Off 1.5 to 2 days during the week.
Dedicated Truck Drivers:
Home daily, home nightly, or home between 1-3 loads. (You will pick your lane, which will determine your schedule.)
Off 1.5 to 2 days. You can pick your days off, which can be 2 days during the week or off Saturday and Sunday.
Regional Truck Drivers:
Home thru the week between 1-3 loads. (You will pick your area to run, which will determine your schedule.)
Off 1.5 to 2 days. You can pick your days off, which can be 2 days during the week or off Saturday and Sunday.
Drivers can stay out as long as you wish. Drivers who choose to stay out longer than 5 days will receive special pay and days off depending on what applicant has in mind.

PAY:
Drivers will qualify for a sign on bonus from $1000 and up to $6,000 for some positions. (Apply to find out more details.)
Drivers will make $1,000 to $1,800 per week depending on your experience level.
Up to $8,550 in bonuses.
Average miles for dedicated lane drivers is 2700 to 2800 per week. But there are as many miles you want!
Local drivers get paid hourly.

FREIGHT:
All freight is mostly and hook. 85% is single stop, Drop, and Hook!
We do not touch freight!
Driver’s can choose the type of freight you prefer to haul!
LTL.
Dry Van.
Reefer.
Flat.
Tanker.
All freight is running lanes.
Freight goes to the same customers every week.

TRUCKS AND EQUIPMENT:
Trucks are assigned, you can take them home, and we offer late model equipment. Trucks are well maintained every 20,000 miles!
Trailers are late model and well maintained at each yard/facility.
